AvaloniaOutdoors: Mountain Bike (MTB) cross country and road riding.

Based in the less well known west end of the beautiful Peak District National Park, we have some awesome MTB terrain on our doorstep.

It takes local knowledge to get the maximum value when riding MTB here. Because we've been exploring the area for many years, we make sure you get the most from your time with us. We offer 'cross country' style MTB rides, not hardcore downhiller routes; though we do encounter many challenging downhill sections during our rides. We go in any weather conditions, summer and winter, sun, rain or snow... So be warned!

Cycling can be a tough, demanding sport. Guiding at different levels of ability involves tailoring a ride dynamically. During a ride it is common to vary a planned itinerary to fit the group: flexibility is key. Typically we split a ride with a stop-over in a cafe, though a hard-core group may wish to skip the stop for additional trial-time.

...Maybe you're into road riding: Try the pan-flat (and fast) plains of Cheshire (the Cheshire Cycleway passes through here); or perhaps you'd prefer the demanding Peak District (e.g. Gunn Hill and Axe Edge). Fast and flat, or challenging hills, it's all on our doorstep.

Mission Statement

We are a small flexible customer driven company, prepared to 'go the extra mile' to make sure you have a really fantastic experience with us, so you get the most from YOUR trip.
